norelem is continuing to expand its extensive range in the area of products with status sensors and, in addition to indexing plungers, is now also offering positioning bushes with status sensors. With these new, intelligent products, norelem is a pioneer on the market: the integration of inductive sensors reduces material losses and significantly increases process reliability.
The aim is to make manufacturing processes more stable, precise and reliable. Products with sensor-based status and position monitoring, such as the norelem indexing plungers and positioning bushes with status sensors, offer a clear advantage here.
With the indexing plunger with status sensor, a sensor integrated in the grip detects the status of the plunger. The sensor is connected to the machine control unit via a three-core PVC cable. The status (locked or pulled) can be precisely detected, enabling actuation-dependent process control. The length, height and position of moving components can thus be adjusted even more precisely. The indexing plungers from norelem are available in steel or stainless steel.
The positioning bushes with status sensor have a variably adjustable sensor integrated in the bush. The user can assemble a commercially available inductive sensor with a diameter of 3 mm on the "for status sensor" models. The inductive sensor detects the signal and transmits it to the machine control unit, which only starts the production cycle, for example, when all operating or detent elements are in the correct position. Electronic status monitoring is used in the packaging industry, in particular for the format adjustment of packaging machines.
Status sensors, stainless steel with bracket for toggle clamps are used to monitor the actuated status of toggle clamps.
The sensor detects whether the toggle clamp is open or closed and enables this status information to be processed electronically.
