Hygienic USIT® sealing and shim washers

The Hygienic USIT® washers set new standards in hygienic sealing.

• Structure: Metallic washer (stainless steel 1.4404) with a permanently attached elastomer ring.

• Special feature: Cavity-free sealing under screw heads, even with aggressive media and high sterilisation temperatures.

• Certification: The hex head screws with collar 07170-04 or cap nuts with collar 07280-05 can only guarantee a cavity-free seal when used in combination with the Hygienic USIT® seal and shim washers 07300-03, complying with EHEDG guidelines. The product family "Hexagon head screws, stainless steel with collar and seal and shim washer the for Hygienic-USIT® set 07170-10" is EHEDG certified.

Hygienic screws & cap nuts

• Made from stainless steel 1.4404, high-gloss polished with a surface finish less than Ra 0.8 μm.

• Developed as per DIN EN 1665 for product contact areas.

• In combination with Hygienic USIT®, absolutely tight and easy to clean in CIP, SIP and WIP processes.

Grips & operating parts

• Hygienically smooth, ergonomic and rust-free.

• Variants such as T-grips, wing grips, clamping levers or mushroom knobs - all designed in such a way that no dirt pockets can form.

Edge protection profiles & rubber buffers

• Made from FDA-compliant silicone, ADI-free and resistant to cleaning agents.

• Protects edges, absorbs shocks and extend the service life of equipment.
