Moving loads from one place to another: That's very easy with ball transfer units from norelem. The specialist for standard and operating parts offers these conveyance elements in many versions. The type with plastic housing is especially suitable for use in the foodstuff industry.

The special feature of these ball transfer units is the housing made from a certified blue plastic, which has been approved for use in hygiene-critical areas. The ball transfer units are available in versions with both load and bearing balls made from stainless steel and a variant with plastic load balls. They have a gap-free, closed lid that prevents the formation of dirty edges. A hole in the underside also enables the ball transfer units to be cleaned very easily. They convey loads with up to

500 N at a transport speed of up to 1.5 m/s in a temperature range of –30 °C to +50 °C (plastic load balls up to +30 °C).

Bulk goods can be moved, rotated and guided without much effort with ball transfer units from norelem. They are suitable as components in conveyance systems as well as in feed systems, machine tools or packaging equipment. The balls ensure precise movement in all mounted positions. They are robust, low maintenance and can be quickly installed.

In addition to the version with plastic housing, norelem also offers ball transfer units for heavy-duty applications (up to 15,000 N), which have a massive steel housing and can even withstand impact loads without any problems. For applications in clean rooms, measuring instruments or miniature mechanisms, the ball transfer units are also available as a mini variant – the smallest is only 8.5 mm high and has a thread length of only 2.5 mm.
