Axial joints for tractive forces

Axial joints consist of a ball and ball seat, both of which are connected to a thrust element. norelem can supply axial joints that are specially designed to take up tractive forces. These joints ensure that high tractive forces can be applied along the longitudinal axis of the axial joint. The locknut can be adjusted to allow more or less movement to the ball, or to lock the ball completely.

Axial joints are used within e.g. the steering systems of automobiles. They assist other parts of the steering sytem without having any effect on the driving or steering behaviour.

The norelem product range includes Axial joints for tractive forces and Axial joints similar to DIN 71802.
